राजा राजा चोलनी | Raja Raja Cholan

प्रथम राजाराज चोल दक्षिण भारत के चोल राजवंश के महान सम्राट थे जिन्होंने ९८५ से १०१४ तक राज किया। उनके शासन में चोलों ने दक्षिण में श्रीलंका तथा उत्तर में कलिंग तक साम्राज्य फैलाया। राजराज चोल ने कई नौसैन्य अभियान भी चलाये, जिसके फलस्वरूप मालाबार तट, मालदीव तथा श्रीलंका को आधिपत्य में लिया गया। The first Rajaraja Chola was the great emperor of the Chola dynasty of South India who ruled from 985 to 1014. Under his rule, the Cholas extended their empire to Sri Lanka in the south and Kalinga in the north. Rajaraja Chola also conducted several naval campaigns, as a result of which the Malabar Coast, Maldives and Sri Lanka were taken under the suzerainty.
